In search of bio-based packaging alternatives to plastic, we planned to produce a compostable and resealable all-purpose bag in 2020. In order to solve the production technology and material-related challenges, we use the resource efficiency consulting of the NRW Efficiency Agency. As part of the “Mittelstand Innovativ” project, for example, recipe components were tested.

At the end of the process, we received our compostable and resealable all-purpose bag, which achieved the seedling certification. The seedling is a symbol of industrial compostability recognized at home and abroad by European Bioplastic e.V.
